Donate as a company
Are you looking for an opportunity for your company to do good, support a social project or promote youth work? Then you've come to the right place!
There are many different ways to support diversity München e.V. We have briefly summarized the most important ones for you:
- Bank transfer / Paypal
- Online donation campaign & crowd-funding
- Donation of Goods
- Donation box (cash donation)
All donations can be fully deducted by the tax office, as we are recognized as a non-profit organization. You will also receive a donation receipt for your contribution!
Why donate?
Our donations have been declining sharply for some time - they have fallen by 85% since 2022. Support us - against the trend! With your donation, we can cover our running costs; we have collected some examples for you below.
Your donation could be used for:

PR
To represent diversity Munich to the outside world, we regularly print information flyers, posters and stickers. We spend around €500 a year on this.

diversity@school
diversity@school needs around €1,500 a year for materials for the workshops at Munich schools.

Group Meetings
To enable our groups to meet once a week, we need between €600 and €1,000 a year - per group!

diversity Café
For the maintenance of our café (e.g. servicing the dishwasher or refrigerators, installing fiber optic cables or painting the walls), we need around €2,000 per year.

CSD
The CSD is the largest event in which we as diversity München e.V. actively participate. For the parade in June, in addition to our information material, we also need two trailers with sound systems, which we rent every year for one day. This year it will cost us just under €1,800.

Leisure Trip
The total cost of a leisure trip for our young people is around €700: a house has to be booked, food has to be bought, activities have to be planned and organized. We organize between four and six leisure trips a year!

Administration
Our association is growing and growing - and so is our administrative workload. We need an additional mini-job position for tasks such as updating our membership database (e.g. adding new members), printing membership cards or sending out information flyers. The costs for such a position amount to around €9,300 per year for us as an employer.

Technology
Our groups depend on functioning technology: fast Wi-Fi for film evenings, printers for posters or flyers, software to be able to contact each other and organize group meetings. We currently need around €10,000 to bring our IT back up to date.

Security
To ensure that our young people feel as safe as possible in the diversity Café, we hire a security company with queer-sensitive staff for the bar evenings. This costs around €3,600 per year.
